Seasonal Concession Stand Manager

 

Position Summary: The Seasonal Concession Stand Manager will specialize in operational aspects of preparing and running the pool side concession stand in the summer. Works well with all departments to assure that the guests and member's expectations are exceeded. The Concession Stand Manager must take pride in training young staff, and be passionate about ensuring an overall positive service experience

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Responsibilities of the Position:

1.     Train/Cross-Train all employees in any/all appropriate positions pertaining to the Concession Stand

2.     Work with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director in scheduling all aspects of the Concession Stand

3.     Create and implement processes and procedures

4.     Works with the Executive Chef to determine menu offerings

5.     Assist in all aspects pertaining to the concession stand (cooking, cleaning, POS, etc.)

6.     Provides excellent customer service to all Members and their guest who enter in the Concession Stand

7.     Ensures all cleanliness standards are kept up

8.     Will be responsible for building the staff roster

9.     Will handle any Concession Stand related food and beverage issues.

10.  Will handle any Concession Stand related staffing/discipline issues.

11.  Handles any operational issues in a professional manner.

12.  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Hotel/restaurant or private club service experience in a supervisory or management related capacity with progressive growth and responsibility in the restaurant/private club field preferred, but not required.
  • Great attitude and highly self-motivated.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs and stand on feet for extended period of time.
  • Front of House and Sales experience a plus.
  • ServSafe and an Indiana Liquor Server License is a plus
  • Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.

      Hours & Compensation               Salary Range - Open with individuals qualification
