Community Outreach Specialist

The Community Outreach Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing outreach efforts to increase the agency’s visibility, build community relationships, and generate referrals for services. This role focuses on promoting agency programs, identifying partnership opportunities, and connecting with community organizations, hospitals, schools, and referral sources to help grow the client base and strengthen the agency’s community presence.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, social workers, schools, local agencies, and community organizations.

• Represent the agency at health fairs, community events, and professional networking functions to promote services.

• Identify new outreach and partnership opportunities to increase referrals and expand service reach.

• Coordinate community presentations and educational sessions to inform the public and professionals about agency programs.

• Track and report all outreach activities, referrals, and partnership outcomes to management.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless referral follow-up and client intake.

• Maintain updated marketing materials and distribute to community partners and referral sources.

• Assist in implementing local marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotional events.

• Serve as a positive and professional representative of the agency in all community interactions.

• Provide feedback to management regarding community needs, referral trends, and partnership opportunities.

  
  

  Schedule

  • Hours will have flexibility for occasional weekends or community events.

  • Travel within the local service area is required.
