Position Type: Full Time (36 hours)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:00 pm)
Wage: $24.41 - $27.89 per hour

The Role
We’re seeking a Community Inclusion Support Worker to support individuals in achieving their personal goals and living full, connected lives. Reporting to the Program Manager and collaborating with a dedicated team, you’ll encourage independence, build relationships, and foster inclusion by creating opportunities for friendship, recreation, education, and vocational growth.

What You’ll Do
• Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, health, nutrition, recreation, and vocational or educational goals.
• Encouraging independence, skill development, and meaningful participation in community life.
• Work collaboratively with families, community partners, and professional supports (MCFD, CLBC, VIHA, Behavior Consultants, etc.).
• Uphold Bonaventure’s mission, values, and policies while modelling respect, dignity, and inclusion.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained and report concerns promptly.
• Promote strong, respectful relationships with team members, families, and the community.
What You Bring
We know the right person brings more than just credentials—they bring heart, patience, and commitment. We’re looking for candidates who have:
• Diploma or Degree in Social Services, Community Support Work, or related field—or equivalent experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine desire to support people with diverse abilities in achieving their goals
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Resilience and adaptability in handling diverse and sometimes high-stress situations
Requirements
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License, and personal vehicle.
• RCMP Criminal Record Check & MCFD Hub Screening (employer facilitated).
• First Aid with CPR, Food Safe Level 1.
• 3 reference letters (including one from your most recent employer).
• Immunization record or exemption, TB Screen, and Physician’s Declaration.
