We are seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients for all shifts in both CNA and CMA roles.

  • Available Positions: Days, Evenings, and Nights (8 hr. shifts)
  • Available Status: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN

Park Lane Nursing Home is a non-profit 54-bed Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care Facility serving Scott City, Kansas. Additionally, our campus, Park Lane Senior Living, boasts 20 Independent Living Apartments and 11 Residential Healthcare Apartments. Facility Needs – Certified Nurse Aides and Certified Medication Aides:

CNA Role: The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

CMA Role: The Certified Medication Aide will assist with medication administration, activities of daily living, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Certified Medication Aides must be flexible and willing to work as either Medication Aides or Nurse Aides, subject to change depending on staffing needs and position availability. Having a CMA certification is not a guarantee of only fulfilling CMA shifts as this is subject to facility needs. Additional pay for additional certification, pay is not decreased based on the role assigned. 

CNA Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
  • Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
  • Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant or Health Care Aid certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules
  • Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility, as needed

 CMA Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
