CNA/STNA Long Term & Short Term Contract Options
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, high-quality personal care and assistance to patients in their homes. The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort while helping them maintain independence in their own environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.

Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping as needed.

Measure and record vital signs, weight, and other patient observations as directed by the RN.

Monitor and promptly report any changes in the patient’s physical, emotional, or mental condition.

Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Follow infection control and safety procedures in accordance with agency and state regulations.

Communicate effectively with the nursing team, therapists, and family members to ensure coordinated care.

Support patients in maintaining independence and quality of life at home.
Qualifications-
Current and valid CNA certification/license in the state of Connecticut.

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience (home health or long-term care experience preferred).

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be available to work at least 3 days per week (including possible weekends or holidays as needed).
