Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, and behavioral health facilities.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care and medication administration
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or relevant healthcare certification
- Experience in senior care, geriatrics, acute care, or behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and protocols
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including children and seniors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
