CNA

 Must be certified as a CNA  in the state required. Must obtained certification from an accredited program. Successfully complete facility orientation, mandatory training and in-service programs. Certification must be in good standing. Able to provide basic patient care, assisting with activities of daily living and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, including tasks like vital signs, helping with hygiene such as bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming. Help with mobility assisting with getting in and out of bed, transferring, walking and using assistive devices. Feeding, serving meals, assisting patients with eating and monitoring food and water intake. Providing comfort ensuring patients are comfortable. Answering patient calls and assisting with their needs Working closely with nurse staff and communicating any changes in behavior and conditions. Documenting patient care by using Point Click Care. Training on how to use assistive devices and transferring patient safely. Must know vital sign baseline and effectively communicate with nursing staff about any abnormal changes in vitals.
