We are currently seeking experienced C.M.T's to join our team! To pass medication to our residents.


Responsibilities:

- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules

- Document medication administration accurately and timely in medical records

- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications

- Assist with patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

- Maintain a clean and organized medication cart or area

- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management


Experience:

- Previous experience working as a Medication Technician or in a similar role is preferred

- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols

- Ability to phlebotomize is a plus

- Experience in acute care or hospital settings is beneficial

- Understanding of dementia care principles and techniques


Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to providing care

- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems

- Document medication administration accurately and maintain patient records

- Provide catheter care and perform phlebotomy as needed

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper patient care and safety

- Follow all established protocols and procedures for medication administration

- Provide support and care for patients with developmental disabilities or hospice care needs
