About the company

Main Street Project Inc. (MSP) is a not-for-profit charitable community health center with a mandate to address the social determinants of health which give rise to issues of addiction, physical, and mental health issues and homelessness. MSP uses housing-first and harm reduction principles in the provision of a safe, respectful and accessible place for individuals who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in the community.

MSP plans to set up a no cost retail-style clothing store for our participants and community members in the lower level of our Emergency Shelter. The clothing shop will simulate a retail experience, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment where people can choose what works for them instead of receiving a hand out. Our focus will be on providing an inclusive and respectful shopping experience ensuring that our guests live with dignity as we help set them up for success on their path forward.

As a Store Associate, you are to provide excellent service to guests, sort incoming product, receive donations and assist the Store Manager in the maintenance of all store operations. On a daily basis you will positively impact our guests, donors, and the community in which we operate.
