Clinical Operations Manager (remote)
Sweetgrass Pharmacy and Compounding is an independent retail and compounding pharmacy based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, serving patients with personalized care and precision. We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to lead pharmacy workflow optimization, provider engagement, and especially the implementation of our new compounding platform, Pharmetika.
🔍 What You’ll Do-
Lead the implementation and rollout of Pharmetika, including SOP creation, system maintenance, and staff training.

Monitor and optimize KPIs tied to prescription processing, communication workflows, and pharmacy compliance.

Serve as the primary point of contact for provider questions, training, and operational support.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical, and Billing teams to drive coordinated, high-quality service.

Support strategic initiatives like CRM enhancements, provider analytics, and sample coordination.

Represent Sweetgrass Pharmacy at conferences and leadership retreats (up to 10% travel).

Pharmetika experience is REQUIRED. You’ll be the go-to expert for our platform’s success.

PioneerRx experience is a strong plus.

Ability to train and mentor others with confidence and clarity.

Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and team-based.

Highly organized with an ownership mindset.

Strong grasp of pharmacy systems, CRM tools, and workflow logistics.

Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.

Registered Pharmacy Technician in South Carolina (or willingness to register quickly).

3+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, preferably in compounding.

Proven experience mentoring staff or leading small teams.
This is a remote-first position, but we strongly prefer candidates based in South Carolina due to periodic onsite responsibilities. You’ll need to be available to travel to our Carolina Park location in Mount Pleasant for training, system rollouts, or special events.
