Cleaning & Sanitation Operator

New Hope Mills is looking for a Cleaning & Sanitation Operator to join the team.

Job Duties Include:
-Perform cleaning duties such as: cleaning floors, walls and glass, cleaning bathrooms, changing towel & soap dispensers, removing trash and recyclable materials.
-Measure and administer chemical solutions for use in cleaning.
-Operate various industrial cleaning machinery such as vacuum cleaners and floor cleaners.
-Clean according to schedules and lists, and record when cleaning is complete.
-Cooperate in annual/semi-annual cleaning and help clean in other departments as needed.
-Perform other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills:
-Knowledge of proper chemical use and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
-Must be self-motivated, responsible and detail oriented.
-Perform tasks that will result in contact with some food allergens. (Company will advise)
-High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education.
-Demonstrate commitment to company values, policies and procedures.
-Ability to stand and maneuver for long periods of time. ï‚· Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift objects of up to 60 lbs.
-Ability to work well with colleagues in a professional & organized manner. 

Desired Skills Include:
-2+ years of similar position experience.
-Machinery operation experience, especially Pallet Jack and Forklift experience.
-Experience in the manufacturing and food industry.
