Cleaning and Sanitation Specialist
Maintaining the overall cleanliness and habitability of the various homes managed by the Agency.
· Perform thorough cleaning of assigned homes, including but not limited to: Dusting and polishing surfaces that include but are not limited to countertops, upholstered furniture, and light fixtures; Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen appliances; Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types; Empty trash cans.
· Assist with preparing units for new move-ins by following housekeeping checklist and communicating completion to all parties timely.
· Independently follow assigned cleaning schedule and adjust as needed based on new requests or unplanned changes.
· Accountable for accurately maintaining all appropriate checklists and documentation as requested.
· Monitor cleaning supplies and request new/refill of cleaning supplies, report breakages, and needed repairs in a timely manner. Supplies to be purchased upon written approval from Property Director following purchasing guidelines.
· Assist with occasional cleaning of biohazard spills and body fluids following bloodborne pathogen and Universal Precautions.
· Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and meet Agency expectations.
· Assist with maintaining and monitoring agency vehicles use and inspections.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
· Experience in residential house cleaning required.
· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
