Civil CAD Technician

We are looking for a Civil CAD Technician to join our Overland Park, Kansas team.
Responsibilities may include:
- Gather data and perform research to support daily projects.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
- Conduct various office tasks, including research and preparation of CAD files for construction documents, as well as review deeds and title work information.
- Utilize engineer and survey drawings to create bid documents.
- Prepare precise CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3-D software.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment, demonstrating self-motivation and a strong customer service orientation.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Be available to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities
- 2+ years of CAD related drafting/design experience.
- Proficiency in preparing CAD drawings with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3-D software to create high-quality drawings.
- Strong teamwork skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to learn and adapt, even if you don't possess all the desired skills for this position.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients effectively.
