Chief Financial Officer
American Bank & Trust Company in Opelousas, Louisiana, is searching for a Chief Financial Officer. We are a community-oriented Bank established in 1958, founded based on honesty, integrity, loyalty and trust.
We need a leader with ethical integrity who can guide our financial systems and help us continue to prosper. A person with excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills who can work well with our team. Someone proficient with financial software and who is analytical.
The CFO will have an ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and monitor business performance. Our choice for CFO will understand advanced and current accounting practices and trends, regulatory compliance and reporting, tax regulations and planning, and ALM modeling. Be responsible for the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same.
As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills with management, the Board of Directors, staff, shareholders, regulatory agencies, auditors, vendors, etc. They will ensure cash flow is compatible with operations. Our CFO will oversee and participate in accounting, recording, reporting, investment activities, and internal-control activities of the organization.
