Charge Nurse - RN/LPN - Weekend Package - Full-Time / Part-Time - All Shifts Paid at Time-and-a-Half Premium Pay

Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):

  • Supervises nursing team members who provide direct resident care
  • Communicates with all healthcare providers and partners
  • Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the resident
  • Documents resident status/care/services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner
  • Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate/care center policies and procedures
  • Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license
  • Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care (LTC) preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public Safety
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Additional Information

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Shift/Schedule: Weekend Package (Sat/Sun), Day Shift (8- or 12-hr shifts) or Evening Shift (8-hr shift); Flexible Scheduling; Weekend Package shifts paid at time-and-a-half (base wage)

Wage Range*: $42.75/hr-$54.75/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years
