Certified Wound Care Treatment Nurse – RN or LVN

Pay & Benefit Structure

Ashford Hall has served patients and families in the Dallas / Fort Worth area for over 50 years! We are accepting applications for a Certified Wound Care Treatment Nurse (RN or LVN) working Full-Time regularly assigned shifts. We are certain this will be a positive and rewarding experience for you. Outlined below is the pay and benefit structure for this position.

  • Paid semi-monthly on 6th & 21st

PTO (PAID-TIME-OFF): Tiered program based on Length of Employment. Paid-Time-Off when you need it, for whatever you need it for!

  • Start earning from day 1.  
  • Available to use after 60 days.

HOLIDAYS: Observance of New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are considered holiday overtime work-days. If you work any of the above Holidays, you will be paid time and a half for hours worked that day.

EARLY-ACCESS to PAY:  Life sometimes throws us challenges! With RAIN, employees can now have early access to portions of their pay when they need it.

INSURANCE BENEFITS: Excellent Health and Dental benefits are available after 90 days of full-time employment, with generous company contributions to Health Plan. Supplemental insurances are also available (Life, AD&D, Cancer, Disability, and More!)

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT: Eligible after 1 year of full-time employment for reimbursement of tuition for 2 classes per semester.

Education

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN/RN program.

  • Wound Care Certification - CWCN

Experience:

  • Nursing experience:  4 years (required)
  • Wound Care experience:  2 years (required)
  • Long term care experience:  3 years (Preferred)

Work Location:

  • In person, onsite

Job Description

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, the Director of Nursing, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. You will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.

Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.
