Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipe including iron, steel, copper, and plastic using thermo weld, welded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused or cemented joints
- Accept responsibility for pipe systems (requiring certified welder) that complete systems are at, or above minimum certifiable standard as defined by knowledge, training, regulatory agency, and company policy
- Weld pipe using appropriate welding equipment, materials, and procedures
- Plan installation to avoid obstructions and interferences
- Perform all other duties as assigned by field supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Certified per Lyons Company welding procedures in: 2 1/2 " and over and 2" and under - Socket weld
- Valid Driver's license
