What You’ll Do:
- Provide treatment under the direction of a licensed therapist.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and team members to create a positive and effective care environment.
- Implement patient treatments in line with individualized plans, ensuring progress toward therapy goals.
- Accurately document clinical treatments and daily charges while adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
- Educate families and nursing staff on restorative and home programs as directed by the supervising therapist.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, in-service training, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Travel or float between facilities as needed based on patient care demands.
Your Role in Team Success:
- Maintain productivity standards and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Rehab department.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and their families to foster trust and support recovery.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized treatment area, and report equipment issues promptly.
What You Bring:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare and reimbursement regulations.
- Flexibility, personal integrity, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, and lift intermittently during the workday.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist patients with mobility and equipment.
- Emotional stability and resilience to work effectively with patients facing challenging circumstances.
