Hours and Shifts:
We are hiring for aΒ full-time Transportation Driver to support our residents within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Transportation Driver at Avalon View, you will provide compassionate care and support to our residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Your daily tasks will include:
- Responding to resident needs promptly and with professionalism
- Assisting residents with their activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administering meals and documenting food and fluid intake
- Assisting with the admission process and helping new residents adjust to their environment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal care and support for residents
- Organizes transportation of residents to complete required appointments based on priority of resident needs.
- Transports resident to and from inpatient and outpatient programs and to and from appropriate facilities and residences.
- Transports medical records for signatures to medical offices.
- Promptly reports any scheduling changes to the DON; nursing staff and ancillary service providers, responsible parties and takes follow up action as necessary
What You Need to Join Our Team:
- A valid CNA license in Missouri preferred.
- AΒ CPR/ BLSΒ Certification.
- A valid Class E Driver's License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A professional demeanor and a commitment to providing high-quality care
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting (preferably in a skilled nursing facility)
