Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - 5p-9p, Part-Time
Summary
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse:
- Administers and documents medications
- Provides treatments to a specified number of residents within the acceptable
time frame
- Demonstrates knowledge of medications, actions, dosing, adverse reactions,
and contraindications
- Assists Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements
- Must meet the training and certification qualifications as specified by the Health Facilities Division of the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals and provide verification of certification
- Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Job Type: Part-Time
Shift: 5p-9p, Flexible Scheduling; approx. twenty-five (25) hours/wk
Wage Range*: $22.00/hr-$25.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.10/per
year, up to ten (10) years
2nd Shift Differential: $3.00/hr
Weekend Differential: $2.00/hr
