Lawrence Street Health Care Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary department. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily operations of the dietary department
- Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician orders, dietary needs, and preferences
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility dietary regulations
- Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff
- Monitor food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams on resident nutritional needs and care plans
- Ensure accurate documentation and completion of required dietary records
Qualifications (Required for Consideration)
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Active Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Food Service Manager (CFSM) certification (required)
- 👉 Must be eligible to work in this role in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Knowledge of dietary practices, procedures, and regulations in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting (required)
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a dietary department within a hospital, nursing facility, or healthcare setting
- Experience managing staff, scheduling, and departmental operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
