Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician
Norwalk Dialysis Center is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician to join our dynamic team of professionals!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- A Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician is responsible for general direct care of the patients receiving hemodialysis under the direction of the Medical Director.
- Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager, performs duties in the care and treatment of patients on maintenance dialysis
- Performs in accordance with the established rules, regulations and standards of practice of the facility
- Abides by all Federal, State and local regulations and laws relating to the operation of an ESRD facility.
- Prepare Dialysis Machine. Prime extracorporeal circuit. Obtain and record pre and post dialysis treatment data. Report any abnormalities of vital signs and weights to charge nurse.
- Keep the nurse manager of charge nurse informed of any unusual patient problems or communications.
- Respect confidentiality of patients
- Willfully assists in the orientation and teaching of new employees and students
