Job Summary:

children with hearing loss reach their full potential. As the Centralized
Scheduling Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless scheduling
operations for our Audiology and Speech Therapy departments, including our
satellite locations. Additionally, you will manage insurance verification and
patient intake processes to ensure a streamlined experience for our families.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the scheduling of patient appointments for Audiology and Speech Therapy departments
- Manage new patient intake processes as part of the scheduling process
- Supervise insurance verification processes
- Coordinate and manage the daily activities of direct reports
- Develop and implement efficient scheduling workflows and procedures
- Monitor and analyze scheduling metrics to optimize patient flow, attendance rates, patient satisfaction and operational efficiency/productivity
- Develop and communicate scheduling related reports to organizational and departmental leadership
- Provide training and support to scheduling staff
- Work with facility and departmental leadership, as well as departmental staff, to meet the scheduling needs of the organization
- Address and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that arise
- Maintain accurate records of patient appointments and insurance verifications
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
- Maintain sufficient understanding of services provided at THI to facilitate effective communication with clients, staff and visitors
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficient in using scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills including excel proficiency
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare scheduling or administrative role.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial position preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Position Information:
- Hours Weekly: 40
- Monday - Friday
