McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, a family-owned funeral services company that has been part of the Calgary community and leader in the funeral services industry of over 120 years, is seeking a professional and courteous individual to join our dynamic and dedicated Central Reception team. This role supports our 10 locations in the Calgary area and a staff of over 130 amazing people, providing exceptional customer service via telephone and messaging as the first point of contact for the families we are privileged to serve. 

This is an Overnight shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 4 days on / 4 days off.

In this role you will:

• Have the responsibility of being the first point of contact for all locations, take calls from families and provide support 
• Take pride in representing McInnis & Holloway with the utmost professionalism.
• Accurately gather information in an efficient and error free manner 
• Assist the families we serve, by connecting them with one of our highly trained team members.
• Utilize phone etiquette to ensure positive interactions

Qualifications Required:

• Experience Managing a Multi-Phone Line for Incoming and Transferring Calls
• Strong Communication Skills with ability to Speak Clearly and Confidently
• Strong Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Compassion and Empathy to assist our families
• Must be able to manage, assign and prioritize tasks
• Attention to Details, able to verify details with accuracy
• Have the ability to work independently
• Must be Flexible working Weekends, Long hour shifts, Night shifts, Public holidays

• Starting wage of $22.00 / hour
