Our vision is "of welcome. Join us in building communities that support and value the diverse abilities of all peopleâ€. Pathways has Casual Asleep Support Worker position available. The shifts are 15 to 16 hours, with half the time spent sleeping (respond to the home members if required) and the remaining awake providing support.

 Who should apply: Human Service Workers, Care Aids, Certified Teaching Assistants, LPNs any person with post-secondary education in human or social services. Employees are required to have or be willing to obtain within 1 month of being employed the following: Valid CPR / First Aid certificate, TB skin test, Hepatitis B inoculation, doctor's certificate of good mental and physical health from a physician who has known you for at least 2 years, Food Safe Certificate, valid Class 4 Driver’s License, drivers abstract, business class car insurance, daily use of a vehicle and a satisfactory criminal records search. Transfers and lifts may be a requirement of the position.

 The asleep starting wage is $18.98 per hour and the awake support worker wage is $21.63 per hour with a comprehensive benefit package and pension plan for employees who post into permanent positions.
