The Job

 

The Cash & Admin Lead will support with all store-related administrative functions in the areas of cash handling, audit processes and controls, customer service inbox, and other administrative tasks. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring compliance across all necessary areas, and requires meticulous attention to detail, documentation, and follow-through.

 

The Cash & Admin Lead will coach our team of Admin Associates to ensure compliance and understanding across all functions, with decision-making rooted in what is best for the guest experience.

 

Reporting to: Store Manager

 

What You’ll Do

 

Guest

 

§  Own the organization, cleanliness, and supply levels of the cash wrap area to ensure a positive experience for the guest.

§  Deliver team training on cash handling procedures and other related functions to enable them to deliver the best guest experience.

§  Work alongside the team to understand how we can streamline workflow to maximize the guest experience.

§  Handle guest issues in a calm and resilient manner, involving senior leadership as needed to always ensure we make it right

 

Team

 

§  Provide in-the-moment coaching to support the team's performance and offer feedback on how they can improve.

§  Regularly connect with the team to build rapport and gain a solid understanding of the people you lead.

§  Highlight training needs across the team to allow this to be addressed with available resources.

§  Escalate employee concerns and feedback to senior leadership.

§  Be an expert in wider store processes and procedures to provide support and guidance to the store teams.

§  Ensure that your team adheres to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.

§  Collaborate with in-store and 3rd party teams to understand all areas of the business and how you can implement systems and processes to improve them.

§  Complete POS training with new hires during onboarding.

 

Store

 

§  Oversee daily cash management functions including POS opening/closing and reconciliation in line with processes and procedures.

§  Oversee daily store opening and closing procedures.

§  Partner with Operations and Facilities teams to ensure store supplies are ordered and store standards are maintained throughout the day.

§  Identify maintenance and repair needs across the sales floor and communicate this to appropriate partners.

§  Support store management in the execution of store-related administrative functions.

§  Oversee daily cash office functions and maintain cash office standards.

§  Ensure all processes and procedures are documented and available for review during scheduled audits and business reviews.

§  Assist with special projects and events, such as promotions and product launches.

§  Maintains confidentiality with all company information and escalates concerns to the appropriate parties.

 

 

What You Have

§  2+ years experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced premium retail or experience-based environment.

§  Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.

§  Experience with cash handling procedures.

§  Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal ability.

§  Strong business acumen with the ability to use commercial reporting to drive decision making.

§  Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

§  Flexible availability in line with a Flagship Retail environment across days, evenings, and weekends.
