Position Description:

We are looking for a Mental Health Worker (MHW) for the Child & Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program to join our Team!

Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center is accepting applications for a Mental Health Worker for the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program in Bedford, PA. 

Principal Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include working alongside the Teacher and other MHWs in the elementary classroom as part of a cohesive team. This individual would be responsible for monitoring behaviors in the classroom, while providing support for the emotional and behavioral health needs of students, as established in their treatment plans. The MHW’s plan therapeutic group activities to total 3 hours per day. The applicant should possess a desire to work with children having academic and behavioral health challenges with the assurance of having support from a dedicated, therapeutic team. The children are onsite from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm, which offers time in the afternoons to complete daily progress notes.

Education, Experience, Skills, Training:

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, education, nursing, rehabilitation, or other related field.  Previous experience working with children/adolescents in a mental health capacity is preferred. 

Must work well in a team environment.

Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34, Act 114 clearances.
