POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cardiac Catherization RN Nurse is a professional who assist doctors while also providing care to cardiac patients during the post-catheterization recovery period, support and education of families and the community in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. Works as part of an ON CALL TEAM with other Technologist and nurses to provide coverage for STEMI and other emergency and urgent cath. lab procedures.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Desired:
- Previous experience as an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
- Current ARRT certification
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
- Current Fluoroscopy permit
- Current CPR recognition
- IABP Certification within six months of employment (tracked by dept)
Desired:
- CI certification (through ARRT) or CCI registry
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
- Must demonstrate technical competence, professional judgment, professional communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
