Cardiac Cath Lab RN – 13 Week Contract | 3443131
Position Summary
We are hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment supporting a high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, providing post-procedure recovery care, and supporting urgent and emergent cases, including STEMI coverage.
The Cath Lab RN works collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered cardiovascular care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-catheterization recovery care
- Administer medications and respond to patient condition changes
- Collaborate with Cath Lab technologists and nursing staff for STEMI and urgent/emergent cases
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all clinical and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to function in high-acuity situations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Certifications
- RCIS / CI certification (CCI registry) preferred
- ACLS (include only if required by facility)
Contract Details
- 13-Week Contract Assignment
- Schedule: 4×10 Day Shifts
- On-call requirements may apply for STEMI and urgent cases (clarify during screening)
