Peter Lougheed Provincial Park (Approximately 60 minutes to Canmore or Cochrane)

Cedar & Spruce is seeking a professional, responsible Campground Manager (Host) for Canyon Campground in the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park from June 18 to September 12.

The host site provides access to water service only. Applicants must provide a fully self-contained RV. Starlink will be provided as this campground is not within cell phone coverage.

This is a seasonal, live-on-site role suited to individuals who are self-motivated, professional, and comfortable working independently.

Position Overview

The Campground Manager (Host) is responsible for overseeing daily campground operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and providing consistent guest service. This role serves as the on-site representative of Cedar & Spruce and Alberta Parks.

Key Responsibilities

·       Oversee day-to-day campground operations.

·       Conduct regular inspections of campsites, washrooms, and shared areas.

·       Welcome campers and assist with check-ins and fee collection.

·       Provide information regarding campground regulations and local amenities.

·       Monitor compliance with campground rules and safety standards.

·       Clean vault toilets and shared spaces.

·       Empty garbage and recycling bins.

·       Maintain firepits and assist with firewood sales.

·       Report maintenance and safety concerns to management.

Qualifications

·       Fully self-contained RV (water service available).

·       Strong communication and customer service skills.

·       Ability to work independently with sound judgment.

·       Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

·       First Aid Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain).

·       Clear criminal record check.

·       Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
