Camp-In Instructor (Part-Time)
Camp-In Instructor: Teach hands-on science workshops as part of a team to Camp-In participants. Camp-In is an overnight program for kindergarten-5th-grade and 6th-10th-grade students in a scout or youth group. Lessons and materials are provided for all workshops. All shifts are five hours, from 5:45-10:45 PM on Friday and/or Saturday evenings, from January to early May 2026. Applicants must be able to attend two days of training on January 24 and 25 and be able to commit to at least 8 shifts during the season.
Skills and Abilities:
· Maturity and flexibility
· Good organizational and people skills
· Experience teaching groups of children
· Genuine interest in science content
· Must have completed at least 2-3 years of college, teaching professionals preferred
· Demonstrate good judgement, personal responsibility, and productive impact
· Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting
· Attend training sessions as part of the onboarding process
Compensation: $16.50
