Day Camp Lead Counsellor

Responsibilities

Off Season

• Attend counselor specific trainings.

• Attend the mandatory yearly retreat.

On Season

• Demonstrating effective techniques to guide counselors in group facilitation.

• Ensuring consistent presence alongside counselors; Lead counselors are assigned to groups requiring support.

• Offering guidance, supervision, and support to counselors in their roles.

• Supplying feedback to Location Coordinators and Location Managers regarding counselor performance and development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families, a must

• Great Communication, Patience and leadership Skills

• Bilingual (English required & French preferred - French might be required depending on the location)

Schedule and Job Type

• Part-Time for Off-Season, Full-Time for On-Season

• Part-Time for trainings depending on camp worked

• Full-Time Availabilities for camp:

  • Winter Break Camp: January 2 - January 5, 2024

  • March Break Camp: March 4 - March 8, 2024

  • Summer Break Camp: June 24 - August 23, 2024
