SML is looking for a new team member to join our great team of Move Coordinators who assist our customers in building out a custom moving solution that meets their specific needs. We are a great place to work according to 9 out of 10 SML employees…errr…9 out of 9 as of this job posting.

Key Purpose: Evaluate customer service calls, email or chat sessions to determine how well the Representative conducted themselves using established quality and excellence standards Participate in creating talent development goals and determine if Representatives follow regulatory and compliance guidelines Identify common gaps/trends across a team or location, then provide recommendations on how to close gaps by working with Training and Operations teams
General Job responsibilities
his position requires a high level of organization skills to be applied in the areas of team and fleet management. You will be working directly with our team of drivers, dispatching them to various jobs while making sure they have all the necessary resources to complete each job successfully. Having a background in household goods , logistics, and fleet management is an extreme bonus. one of our main focus areas of this position is to ensure employees are following all safety and DOT regulations. This role is will be the primary contact in coordinating day to day operations.
*Scheduling and assigning drivers and vehicles to complete daily assignments
*Working with Full Service Moving Team to improve operations and efficiencies.
*Notifies employees of daily assignments
*Tracks teams out on assignments
*Manages Driving budget and expenditures on a per -job basis
*Assists drivers in troubleshooting when necessary
*Conducts performance discussions and training
*Ensures drivers have collected documentation and signatures related to delivery/pick up, communicates with customers
*Fleet management- schedule all preventative maintenance & oversee repairs to maintain rolling fleet
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
2-4 years of experience in the field or related preferred
Familiar with standard concepts of scheduling and dispatching
2-3 years of customer service experience
Knowledge of DOT and state-specific safety regulations
Valid Drivers license(CDL preferred)
Communicate clearly: write and speak
