Cabin Housekeeping

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Housekeeper to join our team at Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals and ensure that our cabins are clean and well-maintained. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and kitchen areas. Keeping inventory check in the cabins. Housekeeper must have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Housekeeping staff drives from the laundry facility to the cabins. Must be a reliable worker. MUST be at least 18 years of age or older. This is a part time position with potential for full time. 

Responsibilities:

• Clean cabin (all rooms in the cabin), including dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens, must be able to lift 20lbs or more

• Perform tasks such as laundry (very rarely) and inventory management (kitchen stock - silverware, cookware, plates, cups, etc...)

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate team members

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math skills
