Buyer/Inventory Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

• Ensure that the inventory in facility is accurate which includes:
• Working with Warehouse Manager to ensure key items are kept in stock
• Placing & receiving of orders for assigned vendors is done on time
• Ensure that pricing & inventory on incoming product is accurate & put away properly & any price increases are immediately reported to General Manager
• May require ladder climbing & heavy lifting up to 50lbs
• Ensure that reorder points are being maintained
• Ensure that items that are low or out of stock are being noted weekly via email
• Ensure that missing and damaged product are noted daily via email so credit can be received
• Ensure that you are building and maintaining a good repour with vendor reps
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized work area & worker with coworkers on weekly cleaning of upstairs which includes bathroom and breakroom
• Assist General Manager when needed
• Know and adhere to all company policies and safety regulations
• The ability to effectively communicate with vendors (verbally & via email

EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft office suite and ability to learn RMS efficiently
• Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to take direction from supervisors and implement plans set forth.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Part-time position, working 15- 20 hours as needed for position
•  In the winter certain areas of the warehouse may be cold (in some cases below 30 degrees) working environment during the winter months and hot in the summer months (in some cases above 90 degrees)
