Scope of Supervision: Liaisons with Members of the Leadership Team. Serves as Manager on Duty as required.

Role:

Manages the day to day operations of the Business Office. This is accomplished by taking into account Juniper Communities’ philosophy, hallmarks, policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance to Juniper Communities’ philosophy and hallmarks as well as all written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the Business Office.
  • PAYROLL: Uses ADP but transitioning to Smartlinx. Perform functions of computer/data processor. Prepare payroll, time sheets, etc. Maintain payroll to include maintenance of associate records, processing time cards, paychecks, computation of federal and state payroll taxes, miscellaneous deductions, etc.
  • Maintain associate records.
  • Provide associates with benefit information as needs
  • Coordinate associate benefits: medical, life insurance, and 401(k) retirement plan

Educational/Vocational Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma, an Associate Degree in Business or Accounting is desired.
  • Previous management experience in healthcare or service related setting.
  • Aptitude for math.
  • Computer literate.
  • Knowledge of all applicable governmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
