Tomball Retirement Center is seeking an experienced and service-driven Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee our financial operations while supporting key HR and administrative functions within our Assisted Living and Independent Living community.

What You’ll Do
Resident Billing & Accounts Receivable
- Manage all monthly resident billing (rent, care levels, ancillary services)
- Post payments, track balances, and oversee accounts receivable and collections
- Handle move-in/move-out billing, deposits, and prorations
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial records
Resident & Family Financial Support
- Serve as the primary contact for billing questions and financial discussions
- Explain charges, rate changes, and financial policies clearly and professionally
- Support families during move-in and transition processes
HR & Administrative Support
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure compliance
- Complete and verify I-9 documentation and onboarding paperwork
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation coordination
- Support payroll processing, timekeeping, and corrections
- Ensure accurate and compliant employee documentation
Operations & Team Collaboration
- Partner with the Executive Director and department leaders to support daily operations
- Assist with move-ins, transitions, and census-related processes
- Serve as a central resource for financial and administrative functions across the community
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Previous experience as a Business Office Manager, Office Manager, or similar role in senior living, healthcare, or property management
- Strong experience with billing, collections, and accounts receivable
- Experience supporting HR functions such as onboarding, employee files, and payroll
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with senior living software a plus)
