Liberty Health Care Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our leadership team. This vital position oversees the daily financial operations of our skilled nursing community, ensuring that billing, collections, and resident accounts are handled accurately, efficiently, and compassionately.

We’re looking for a professional with a strong background in healthcare business management who takes pride in both precision and people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the business office, including billing, collections, accounts receivable, and resident trust funds.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private pay claims.

  • Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports in coordination with facility leadership and the corporate team.

  • Partner with the admissions and social services departments to ensure complete and accurate financial documentation for new and existing residents.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and families regarding account inquiries and billing procedures.

  • Train and support office staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • An associate’s degree or five years of experience as a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow oral and written instructions.

  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement procedures, including Medicaid, Medicare, V.A., and private insurance contracts.

  • PointClickCare (PCC) billing system experience preferred.

  • National Data Care Resident Funds Management System (RFMS) experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including reconciliation, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, maintain professional appearance, and communicate effectively.

  • Flexible, organized, and able to work both independently and cooperatively with staff, residents, and outside agencies.

  • Must meet all local health regulations and successfully complete pre/post-employment screenings, including background check, drug screen, and reference inquiry.
