United Mechanical LLC, a Fidelity Company, is one of the leading HVAC service providers in the Southwest Florida area. We are committed to providing excellent service, maintenance, and design-build replacements of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team and help build our HVAC Service Contract base of business. Our ideal team member will be able to sell HVAC Maintenance Contracts creatively and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Be able to appraise and survey mechanical systems and build an HVAC equipment inventory for contractual purposes.

·         Be able to visit job sites, meet with customers, and physically be able to gain access to HVAC equipment on rooftops, mechanical rooms, and ceilings to evaluate projects for pricing.

·         Prepare proposals based on equipment inventory and present them to the customer, negotiate terms of the contract.

·         Develop and manage customer relationships to achieve sales goals, execute sales plans, and renew contracts.

·         Be able to identify and develop prospect relationships in assigned market and promptly follow up on leads and referrals.

·         Maintain an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goal is consistently met.

·         Promptly address customer concerns to assure resolution of problems and maintain long-term positive relationships.

Preferred Education & Experience:

·         Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

·         2-5 years of related business-to-business sales experience, commercial or industrial mechanical sales experience a plus

·         Excellent negotiation skills.

·         Strong communication and organizational skills with a solid work ethic.

·         The ability to identify and exceed customer expectations while managing a high volume of work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency performing duties.

·         Must be able to pass a background check.

·         Excellent logistics, communication, and management skills.
