Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in the insurance or disaster recovery industry to join our thriving team. The individual in this role will be crucial to our growth strategy and expansion. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious professional to directly influence our company's growth trajectory.
Location : Hybrid - Remote/Travel/Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage a business development strategy to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating our commitment to outstanding customer service and long-term partnerships.
- Attend and participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to generate new business leads and enhance our brand presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Deliver engaging and persuasive presentations to prospective clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts with a focus on achieving sustainable and profitable agreements.
- Regularly track and report on progress towards sales targets, providing insightful updates to senior management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in the insurance and adjustment field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field or related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the insurance (adjusting, building consulting) or disaster recovery sector.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and develop successful business strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in both verbal and written communication is a must.
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and targets.
- Ability to identify customer needs and develop effective solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
