Employment Type: Full-Time
Benefits: Company vehicle, laptop, cell phone, mileage reimbursement, marketing budget

ABOUT US:
Nurse Next Door is a leading private duty non-medical home care agency serving six counties in the Central Valley and Bay Area. We're experiencing rapid growth and are expanding into home health, hospice, and palliative care. Our mission is to help seniors thrive at home while giving caregivers the opportunity to live purposeful lives. We're committed to making a lasting impact in our community.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're looking for a relationship-builder who thrives on connecting with people and making a difference. This isn't a desk job – you'll be out in the community every day, building meaningful partnerships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and healthcare professionals who need quality home care solutions for their patients.

If you love people, enjoy networking, and want to be part of a company that truly values your contribution, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Build and maintain relationships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and administrators at skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and assisted living communities
• Conduct 10-15 facility visits per week to introduce our services and support patient discharge needs
• Attend healthcare networking events, community functions, and professional meetings
• Coordinate lunch-and-learns, educational presentations, and facility tours
• Partner with complementary healthcare providers (physical therapy, home health agencies, hospice) to create dual-discharge programs
• Track all activities, referrals, and relationship development in our CRM system
• Work closely with our care coordination team to ensure seamless client onboarding

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL:
• You genuinely enjoy meeting new people and building relationships
• You're comfortable walking into a facility and introducing yourself confidently
• You follow through on commitments and show up consistently
• You're organized and can manage multiple relationships simultaneously
• You're coachable and open to learning proven marketing strategies
• You have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• You're comfortable with technology (CRM, email, GPS, smartphone apps)

IDEAL BACKGROUND (but not required):
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or relationship-based sales
• Familiarity with skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, or assisted living communities
• Previous roles in community outreach, business development, or account management
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits (helpful but we'll train you)

WHAT WE OFFER:
Competitive base salary + commission structure (earn $1 for every billable hour you generate every week)
Company vehicle (cute little pink Lexus!)
 Company laptop and cell phone
 Mileage and expense reimbursement
Marketing budget for lunches, events, sponsorships, and relationship-building activities
Comprehensive training through Home Care Evolution program
Growth opportunities as we expand into home health and hospice
Supportive team environment with experienced leadership
Work-life balance with flexible schedule (Monday-Friday, some evening networking events)

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
✓ First 90 days: Learn our services, complete training, identify top 20 target accounts, establish initial relationships
✓ Months 4-6: Generate 10-15 referrals per month, build consistent facility visit routine, develop 3-5 strong power partner relationships
✓ Months 7-12: Generate 20+ referrals monthly, have preferred provider status at 5-10 key accounts, expand network to 50+ active contacts

YOUR WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
• Monday-Friday business hours (flexible start time between 8-9am)
• 15+ facility visits per week
• 1-2 lunch meetings or networking events
• 1-2 hours of administrative work (tracking, follow-up emails, planning)
• Some evening events 1-2x per month (community health fairs, networking mixers)
• Location tracking enabled during work hours (company phone/tablet)

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT:
Most marketing roles are about cold calling and pushing products. This role is about becoming a trusted resource. You'll be the person discharge planners call when they have a patient who needs help. You'll attend funerals to support families. You'll sponsor bingo at senior communities. You'll teach salsa dancing classes (if that's your thing!). You'll become FAMOUS in your five-mile radius.

REQUIRED:
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation for daily facility visits
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to pass background check
• Comfortable using technology (smartphone, laptop, CRM, GPS)
• Availability to attend some evening networking events

LOCATION & TERRITORY:
This position serves Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties primarily. You'll be based out of our Modesto office but will spend most of your time in the field building relationships.

TO APPLY:
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter telling us:
1. Why you're interested in healthcare/senior care
2. An example of a time you built a strong professional relationship
3. What excites you most about this opportunity

We review applications on a rolling basis and will contact qualified candidates within 3-5 business days.

Nurse Next Door is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
