Part-Time Bus Custodian

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient custodian to efficiently clean and sanitize the Call-A-Ride buses that operate in the city on a daily basis. Duties include, but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, sanitation of seating area, cleaning the windows, as well as the bus driver control area.

This is a night shift position. Hours are Monday and Friday 4:00pm-12:00am. Tuesday-Thursday 5:00pm-9:00pm. Pay rate is $14.92 per hour. Successful candidates must have a strong attention to detail, the able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, team-oriented mind set, and reliable transportation. Applicant can not rely on public transportation as the buses do not run at 12:00am.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, glass cleaning
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate team members.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Other duties assigned.

• Strong attention to detail. 
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills. 
• Must have own vehicle, as buses do not run at 12:00am.
