JOB SUMMARY:

The bulkwelder operates bulkwelding machines that produce an overlay product that is used in various 

fabrications. Operators are required to run multiple machines simultaneously. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Operates multiple machines that produce overlay products.

2. Performs minor maintenance of the machines

3. Measures and confirms that plates are produced to specification.

4. Operates overhead cranes, tow-motors and other material handling equipment.

5. Maintains housekeeping practices on the machines. Removing flux and slag in a timely manner.

6. Logs into and out of operating system to accurately record job process and completion.

7. Makes adjustments to machines as needed to maintain quality of plates produced.

8. Removes finished products from the machines and identifies them according to size, thickness, 

tag number and color code

9. Ensures plates are produced according to the production sheets and filled out accurately.

10. Monitors schedule board for future plates to be produced.

11. Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or G.E.D

2. Must be able to lift 40 lbs
