Hours: 15-20hrs/weekly (flexible)
Wage: $20.00/Hour

Job Summary
Under the direction of the executive director, the Building Services Assistant is responsible for issues related to general building, equipment and administrative maintenance (i.e. organizing banker boxes, sorting paper, etc.) and sanitization. Assists supervisors and management with daily housekeeping duties, contributing to the efficient delivery of support services that maximizes the function and life of Pathways Abilities Society's furnishings and equipment. Perform necessary repair and maintenance, assembles/dissembles equipment, withstands the physical nature of the job when performing tasks, which includes lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods. Participates and coordinates preventative maintenance programs that ensure efficient, cost-effective operations and minimize inconvenient breakdowns.
Qualifications
Employees are required to have or be willing to obtain within 3 month of being employed the following: Physician's Declaration of Good Physical and Mental Health, Satisfactory Criminal Records search, Valid Class 5 Driver's License, business class car insurance, a satisfactory Drivers Abstract and daily use of a safe vehicle.
Written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
Experience with building and equipment repairs and maintenance.
