Quality Control Bristol, VA

Becker/ SMC is Quality Control Associate to test and inspect industrial electrical equipment before it ships to customers in our Bristol, VA location.

This role helps ensure our products are safe, reliable, and meet required industry standards.  Our equipment is used in mining operations, substations, and other industrial environments.

What You’ll Do

·         Perform electrical testing on equipment during factory acceptance testing (FAT)

·         Verify products meet safety and industry standards

·         Identify test failures and help determine corrective actions

·         Maintain accurate test records and compliance documentation

·         Track quality metrics and suggest process improvements

·         Work closely with engineering, production, and safety teams

IDEAL CANDIDATES will have: 

·         Experience in electrical testing, manufacturing, or quality control preferred

·         Familiarity with industry standards (MSHA, NFPA, IEEE, NEMA, UL/CSA) is a plus

·         Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

·         Good communication and attention to detail
