Breakfast Attendant - Hampton Inn I-75 Lexington, KY

Hampton Inn is seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, enjoy providing exceptional guest service, and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming breakfast area. This role is essential in creating a great start to our guests' day by ensuring a fresh, well-stocked, and pleasant breakfast experience.

• Prepare and serve breakfast items in accordance with brand standards and food safety regulations.

• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring all items are well-stocked, attractively displayed, and replenished as needed.

• Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and accommodating special dietary needs when possible.

• Monitor food temperatures and quality, ensuring items remain fresh and safe to consume.

• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, floors, and equipment.

• Handle food and beverage inventory, including restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines and Hampton Inn brand standards.

• Assist with kitchen prep or clean-up tasks as needed and at the end of the shift.

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.

• Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
