PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and service-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our hotel team. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the complimentary breakfast area, ensuring a clean and a welcoming environment for all guests. This role is critical to delivering an exceptional guest experience each morning.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food and beverage items according to hotel standards.
· Monitor food and beverage levels throughout service and replenish as needed.
· Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including wiping tables, restocking utensils, and ensuring food safety standards.
· Monitor food temperatures and presentation to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations.
· Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
· Clean up breakfast area at the end of service, including sanitizing surfaces, disposing of trash, and storing items properly.
· Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to management.
· Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required.
· Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
SCHEDULE / HOLIDAYS/ PTO
This position requires regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. A Breakfast Attendant is expected to usually keep a 5-day-a-week schedule but adjust as needed according to business needs; for example, a 6-day week may be required during peak business periods. Working evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Holidays and PTO are in accordance with the AH Non-Exempt Employee policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Typically, PTO will not be permitted during June 15 - September 15 and December 15 – January 5.
