Branch Supervisor
Summary: The Branch Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in overseeing all areas of branch operations and activities. They will ensure the Branch follows operating policy and procedures while maintaining high customer service and sales activities. This will lead the branch team to grow the deposit base and increase market share and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with management to establish growth, sales and profit objectives.
2. Provide high-quality service to every customer, i.e., greet, address by name, timely assistance, etc.
3. Provide service to Bank customers by conducting transactions, assisting with inquires, and resolving issues promptly.
4. Develop knowledge of bank products/services via training, Bank website, intranet information, meetings, etc.
5. Identify opportunities to cross-share Bank products/services and refer customers to a platform employee or appropriate Bank department.
6. Provide leadership and supervision to Teller and CSR staff.
7. Implement strategies to achieve goals assigned to the branch.
8. Serve as an active member of the customer service team.
9. Conduct customer service calls on current and prospective customers within the branch office market area.
10. Establish and confirm all branch operations are performed in accordance wit established bank police and procedures, either directly or through appropriate supervision (i.e. cash balancing, monthly audits, dual control, etc.)
11. Demonstrate cooperative efforts in working with other departments and within your branch while encouraging similar behavior form staff.
12. Actively participate in the community as a reflection of the bank’s goal for strong community involvement.
13. Maintain proficient knowledge of and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position. Ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent polices, procedures, and internal controls, and promptly meet all job-specific training requirements.
14. As an integral member of the Branch, this position is responsible for assisting wherever necessary to help the Branch and the Bank achiever its excellent customer service and established goals.
