The Branch Operations Supervisor manages and oversees branch personnel, branch operations, and ensures efficient operation on a day to day basis.  The branch operations supervisor should strive to improve productivity and streamline branch activities to maximize results and achieve peak performance levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-          Organize and execute training programs for branch personnel.

-          Oversee and manage the daily operations of the branch.

-          Recruit, train, and discipline employees as required to maintain efficient branch operations.

-          Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback/coaching as needed.

-          Recognize employee achievements and encourage excellence in the work environment.

-          Conduct regular sales and operations meetings.

-          Brief employees on current sales goals, promotions, and other relevant information.

-          Organize marketing activities and events for the branch.

-          Increase brand awareness for the company within the community.

-          Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction and gain feedback.

-          Resolve customer complaints quickly and within company guidelines.

-          Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations that may affect branch operations.

-          Assess market conditions and identify business opportunities through the Chamber of Commerce and other avenues.

-          Adhere to high ethical and professional standards.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

-          Draft forecasts and business plans.

-          Manage budgets, allocating branch funds, and define financial objectives.

-          Coordinate with other branches to share knowledge, plan promotional activities, and achieve goals.

-          Understand and apply company policy and procedures.

-          Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

-          Any and all other duties as assigned by management.

 Qualification Requirements:

-          College degree preferred but not essential in lieu of comparable experience.

-          Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the lift truck industry.

-          Must demonstrate a high degree of communication and organizational skills to include the ability to apply logic and constructive thinking to solve problems.

-          Provide effective oral and written communications to customers, management, and vendors.

-          Must be able to perform mathematical calculations, including decimals and percentages.
