Consolidated Gypsum Supply Ltd. has been distributing building materials to commercial and residential customers since 1977. We operate six locations in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. We are currently recruiting for a part-time Branch Administrator to join our team in Edmonton, AB.
Responsibilities
- Process daily receiving and shipping documents
- File customer invoices, packing slips, transfers, supplier returns and adjustment batches
- Review and correct costing of all inventory POs and transfers
- Monitor and data entry of warehouse and delivery damages, as well as sales promotion items
- Office equipment maintenance - coordinate with vendors
- Order branch stationery and supplies, postage etc.
- Petty Cash reconciliation, maintaining petty cash balance and float for the cash registers
- Balance cash, prepare bank deposits and travel to bank
- Participate in and record minutes for Branch Manager meetings
- Payroll submissions
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Mathematical proficiency
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory criminal record check
